hello sunshine
London today. Bright light; fuelling new ideas, strong shadows, mellow sunsets and sweet air. Happy to see the gardens blooming.
Amazing image of London high above the fog from yesterdays Metro.

delicacies
Piri Piri Starfish: Portugal Found, the new book by Tessa Kiros.
Due out early April. The Canadian edition Postcards from Portugal: Memories & Recipes is due out in March.
This book reminds me of the delicacies recalled in sweet memories. Delicious Azorean pastries, inspiring thoughts of making a trip to mainland Portugal for more delights. Coincidentally, I also enthused about Tessa Kiros' wonderful books.
Pasteis de Nata, another Portuguese treat, superb with an afternoon Galao. These little custard tarts are seen adorning the beautiful pages.
